In this 21st century, computing technology plays an increasingly important role in every aspect of the society. The Computer Science and Information Technology (CSIT) provides students with an understanding of fundamental computer science concepts coupled with applied information technology skills to prepare them for careers in computing technology industries.

The CSIT major offers a unique blend of computer science theory and information technology practice. Students in this program begin their education by taking a set of common core courses to establish a sound foundation of computer science and information technology. The students then build upon this foundation by selecting software engineering, networking and security, database management system as their concentration. Throughout the program, students learn fundamental computing and information technology concepts while applying their knowledge to solve real-world problems. The program is based on the principle that graduates will spend a major portion of their life in a constantly changing environment. The Master of Business Studies (MBS) is semester system program designed to enable the students to work as competent mangers and to meet the demand of higher level managers in organizations, particularly in the functional areas of management. Eligibility for MBS
The candidate applying for admission to the MBS program must have: Successfully completed Bachelor Level of the study or equivalent course from a Tribhuvan University or from any other University/Board in respective faculty recognized by TU.

CMAT Form
CMAT form is available at all colleges offering MBS Program. Applicants should submit these forms duly filled in with supporting academic documents by the stipulated date and time.

CMAT Examination
CMAT Exam is conducted by Faculty of Management (TU). Sample Test Papers can be collected from college along with the CMAT form. Getting through this Exam is mandatory for admission. However the successful students appearing CMAT from other colleges are also eligible.

Research, Project work and Career Counseling
The enrolled students of BernHardt need to participate compulsorily in organizational research and project work. All students must prepare an individual report on their work as assigned to them. Moreover, students are required to show their active participation in seminars and other relevant programmes. Students are required to present their papers before the audience of experts on the similar occasions. The credits of such performances will be added in on the academic repute of the students. Such programmes will be organized in the long vacation and will be informed later by the Department of Research and Project wing of BernHardt. In addition to these, BernHardt is going to spend great deal of time to offer wide-ranging personal advice, Teaching Assistant opportunity career counseling and guidance to the students before, after and during the studies. The college uses multiple techniques such as : group work, business plan, skill development trainings, talk programmes, seminar, conference using different aids and methods such as: overhead projectors (OHP), multimedia, e-library, audio-visual materials etc.

Evaluation System

We believe on students' progress as our progress. We have internal assessment system, continuous assessment system as an individual care of every student. Our facilities provide regular remedial feedback for needy students based on our internal evaluation system as per to the board guidelines. We have separate department of examinations section to look after it.
